Down to Earth Project specializes in Sustainability Education and Natural Building.
Based on a beautiful smallholding in Murton, the project delivers a range of groundbreaking programmes for ‘hard to reach’ learners using traditional and sustainable building methods and materials.
The project site demonstrates stunning cob (earth) buildings and timber frame buildings, solar hot water heating and a solar electric array. Virtually everything there has been hand-crafted by project participants.
